Mustering courage march ahead,

Garnering experiences along the paths you tread,

Despite changing tides in your voyage,

March ahead mustering courage.

 

Perseverance is the key, never give up midway,

Embrace failures, but don’t let your thoughts go astray,

Your jouney will end in success eventually,

Never give up midway, perseverance is the key.

 

With the light of hope, rise after every fall,

Pause to introspect but don’t you stall,

All setbacks you’ll learn to cope,

Rise after every fall, with the light of hope.

Poetry Style : Swap Quatrain

The Swap Quatrain was created by Lorraine M. Kanter.

Within the Swap Quatrain each stanza in the poem must be a quatrain (four lines) where the first line is reversed in the fourth line. In addition, line 2 must rhyme with line 1, and line 3 must rhyme with line 4 and so on, BUT not repeat the same rhyming pattern on subsequent stanzas.

 

Rhyming pattern: AABB, CCDD, and so on.
