Theme : A Poem about Nature
Parched she was, how she yearned for his grace,
The sky seemed clear and the scorching sun was intense,
He heard her ardent whispers and descended in pleasing ways.
Fervently she waited for several days,
Hope seemed bleak and she grew tense,
Parched she was, how she yearned for his grace.
Her shriveled soul was strained, her exuberance did efface,
Her impassioned pleas tried to bridge their distance,
He heard her ardent whispers and descended in pleasing ways.
The passing stray clouds slowly turned somber with grays,
They grew darker and became dense,
Parched she was, yearning for his grace.
With bated breaths she longed for his embrace,
The wafting petrichor conveyed his presence,
He heard her ardent whispers and descended in pleasing ways.
At last he poured his heart out in ecstatic pace,
How she succumbed with glee in rhythmic cadence,
Parched she was, how she yearned for his grace,
Thankfully, he heard her ardent whispers and descended in pleasing ways.
