Theme : Chilhood Memories
Nestled in mother’s lap ‘neath the full moon,
I’d listen to enchanting tales with glee,
Her lullabies wrapped me in a cocoon,
In her calm eyes, my world I chose to see,
Tethering to dreams how I felt merry,
My trivial wants and needs–quite simple,
Blissful were those days when I was little,
Rewinding the past, now I seek solace,
Dreary is adulthood –a grim battle,
Pleasures simple seem lost in the rat race.
