Your thirst for power increases day by day,
Clouds pregnant with ego looms grey,
The strong ones have turned predators hunting for preys,
Vile powers rule, politics ever at play.

Humanity and compassion seem to have lost their meaning,
The doves mourn, with dirges yearning,
Bridges burn, with cracks spreading,
Every dismal news causes a sting.

My heart breaks into a million shards but, you humans, fail to see,
Your reckless actions continue mindlessly,
The future of the world seems bleak sadly,
On deaf ears have fallen all my pleas.
