Theme : A tranquil vacation/ a lazy day

 

Sipping my fragrant cup of hot coffee,

I watch the orb unfurl it’s warm greetings,

In bliss I enjoy my Sunday lazy.

 

The hummingbirds sing a sweet melody,

I watch them fluttering their ornate wings,

Sipping my fragrant cup of hot coffee.

 

I yawn and stretch my hands with glee,

Dwelling in all sweet nothings,

In bliss I enjoy my Sunday lazy.

 

I flip the pages of the newspaper slowly,

Staring at mindless news and things,

Sipping my fragrant cup of hot coffee.

 

I sit comfortably on a couch cosy,

Counting all my showered blessings,

In bliss I enjoy my Sunday lazy.

 

In the mundane life that’s always busy,

I crave this day for the joy it brings,

Sipping my fragrant cup of hot coffee,

In bliss I enjoy my Sunday lazy.
