Mon Amour! Wasn’t our love meant to last forever?
In the mellow meadows of verdant green
As the nascent buds bloomed with gay abandon,
A story blossomed, wafting fragrance ambrosial,
Oh, how the willows whispered euphonious melodies of love!
The dulcet tones of ocean waves made our hearts sway,
Mon Amour! Wasn’t our love meant to last forever?
As our feet sifted the soft sand ‘neath,
Our eloquent eyes met times infinite,
Ardently promising to be entwined for life.
Ask the towering mountains that touch the sky…
They still echo the secrets we once shared,
Mon Amour! Wasn’t our love meant to last forever?
My resounding heart still treasures those cherished moments,
In chambers deep etched with your fond name.
The ebony sky sequined with dazzling stars,
Speaks the timeless tales that we fervently weaved
Sculpting countless constellations while you nestled on my lap,
Mon Amour! Wasn’t our love meant to last forever?
How can they be scattered by the sands of time?
Every morn as myriad shades paint the crack of dawn,
The songs from my yearning soul drift far across,
Hoping they would reach the world of yours,
And reignite the passion within your heart that lays concealed,
Mon Amour! Wasn’t our love meant to last forever?
