Theme : A stone of hope can cause a mountain of despair to fall
Hope doesn’t manifest like a Phoenix with golden wings,
Nor does she flow like a sprightful freshwater spring,
With the colors of eventide she seldom appears,
Nor does she bathe your soul with blinding lights that can make your worries disappear,
She can’t provide gilded paths for your journey,
Nor can she light up your somber soul with a million constellations fancy…
Hope seeps in subtle ways for you to tether,
With a tiny ray of light she tries to usher,
In ways humble she uplifts your spirit,
Befriends you and teaches mighty lessons of grit,
Inconspicuous, she stays by your side,
Not letting you give up though you feel your efforts have died,
Like a tiny lantern she provides you warmth and solace,
Though invisible, unflinchingly, Hope lights up your difficult days.
