The night sky appeared turbulent with caliginous clouds. The howling wind intensified and soon thunderstorms lashed across the towering walls. Yet again, I was reminded of that stormy night when I first met her…
Six Months Earlier
My boat had capsized but I’d managed to swim to the shore. I saw a flickering lantern from a tower at a distance. I ambled towards it. The giant rusty wooden door was slightly ajar and I entered with trepidation.
And there she was. I was instantly attracted to her alabaster skin and amber eyes harboring infinite stories. Her cascading black tresses rhythmically swayed upon her bosom as she breathed.
“ Are you lost ? You may spend the night here.” I was tempted by her melodic voice that was as smooth as silk.
How could I refuse?
She treated me with a sumptuous meal, wine and soon led me to the most ornate bedroom. She held my hand and planted a gentle kiss on my cheek. What ensued was inevitable…
I pulled her close by tugging at her sylphlike waist. She did not resist. What followed was an outpour of ecstacy and rhythmic symphonies of passion.
The next day when I woke up I was shocked to find myself chained and imprisoned inside an abysmal dungeon. I turned around to find the image of a wrinkled stranger staring back at me from a tarnished mirror. My youthfulness was completely stripped.
Her laughter echoed across the hallway. The sylph had turned into a witch.
