Girls and boys, loved by all,

In sticks and cups, sold in stalls,

Candy floss,a wonderful treat!

Savored moments, melting meet,

Fluffy clouds of delicate thread,

Vivid colors of sugary spread,

Pink, green, blue and white,

Drooling mouths blossomed bright,

Sticky teeth, mouth and hair,

Clicked pictures, memories to share,

Those cheerful days from the distant past,

Alas! Why, why did they fail to last?

All innocence has faded away,

The chromatic life has now turned grey.
