Mantras for Good Health

by Gowri Bhargav

Theme : Health is like money. You understand its value only after losing it.

***

Body is a garden, make it bloom,

Mind, body and soul–nurture it always,

Else the future will dismally spell doom.

Be mindful about the foods you consume,

Or dire would be the consequences you face,

Body is a garden, make it bloom.

Lack of exercise will augment complications that loom,

Walk, run, dance–move your body in different ways,

Else the future will dismally spell doom.

Love thyself–for unwarranted talks, give no room,

Your age is just a number, youth–a phase,

Body is a garden, make it bloom.

Declutter your mind, brighten the gloom,

Go easy on your chartered goals, life isn’t a race,

Else the future will dismally spell doom.

The mantras above will help you groom,

an active body that will ease your aging days,

Body is a garden, make it bloom,

Else the future will dismally spell doom.
