Hi, I am
Gowri Bhargav
I’m Gowri Bhargav. I live in Chennai with my husband and two children. Though an Electrical engineering graduate I’ve always enjoyed getting lost in the world of stories rather than being connected with electricity. This led me to obtain my storytelling certification from Kathalaya academy. As a freelance storyteller I have been conducting storytelling sessions for children and workshops for teachers.
I enjoy reading and look forward to magical escapades in libraries, however I became a writer by chance. During Covid I joined Facebook and got introduced to various literary platforms like ArtoonsInn,Penmancy, Beyond the Box( BTB) and Chrysanthemum Chronicles where I discovered my love for writing and honed my writing skills. Though I dabble in prose, poetry is something that comes naturally and is closest to my heart. I’m grateful that my writings, both prose and poetry, have been published in around twenty national and International anthologies.
I’m also grateful to have received the BTB – best blog of the year award in the year 2023 and 2024.
This blog is a home to all my writings—prose, poetry, travelogues and much more. Do show some love by reading and commenting.
