My shriveled soul struggled,
Under the somber grey skies…
The autumnal leaves in my life had withered unapologetically,
And fossilized under numb ice.
But, as the unkind winter sighed,
With the warmth of mellow spring you embraced me,
Nurturing me day and night,
You tended to my bruised heart ardently until,
A garden of love wafting with ambrosial fragrance bloomed in myriad hues,
The everlasting spring with you, bid adieu to all the grim winters of my life.
