Entwined Whispers

by Gowri Bhargav

Seek for me during the period of twilight before sunrise,

In those sublime moments,

I stay concealed.

Search for me in the smudged words of a tarnished letter,

In the indecipherable phrases,

I linger quietly.

Interpret the expressions of my muted face,

In the weaved tales,

I fervently dwell.

In between the pauses of your perfumed breaths,

Like the gentle zephyr,

I try to tingle you.

Lend your ears to my entwined whispers

in the silence of a full moon night,

My longing verses,

are waiting to be heard.
